In order to study the effects of acupuncture on the blood value, the meridian points of Yang-Zi(TE 4), Kyok-Zi(LI 11), Eumreungchun(Sp 9), Shin-mak(BL 62) and Dam-nang (EX-LE6) after applying acupuncture in a certain method to 45 healthy persons. Hematological and Blood chemistrical test have been compared with the state before acupuncturing.
The following results have been obtained :
compared with Pre-acupuncturation.
1) Acupuncture on the meridian points Yang-zi(TE4) and Dam-nang(EX-LE6) shows significant decrease in plt, pct, MPV, # Lymph, and in all other tests there are slight changes(increase or decrease) of numbers.
2) Acupuncture on the meridian points Kyok-zi(LI11) and Eumreungchun(SP9) shows significant decrease in S-GOT and D-Bilirubin, and in all other tests were some changes, but not significant.
3) Acupuncture on the meridian points of Shin-mak(BL62) and Dam-nang(EX-LE6) shows significant decrease in RBG, % Lymph, # Lymph, and in all other tests are also some changes(increase or decrease)
According to the above results, it is recognized that the acupuncture exerts various effects on blood value, these changes are different according to the position and combination of meridian points.
It is concluded that acupuncture is useful and applicated for healing the diseases due to blood value, and the mechanism needs deeper study.
